The following are some of my features standard to all of my models. Added features are available through custom orders or up-grades. I encourage all enquiries so please feel free to call or E-Mail for further possibilities. |
| |
Sound Board Braces: All of my soundboards are braced in a traditional x-brace pattern. Modern techniques and individual voicing is appointed to each guitar top. All soundboard braces are adhered using traditional hide glue |
Back Braces/Caps: As important as a finely tuned soundboard, I feel that the controlled stiffness of the back aids in the overall response and tonal qualities of a guitar. Proper voicing of the back in relationship to the top and materials being used will lead to the best overall projection and desired sound. All soundboard braces are adhered using traditional hide glue. |
Head Stock Veneer: There are a variety of headstock designs and decorative overlays I use on various models. Always changing to adapt to each guitar, my inlay and design work carry a common theme throughout each guitar's personality. Custom options are available. |
Reverse Head Stock/Veneer: As with many headstock overlays, my guitars also have an artistic solid wood overlay on the reverse side of the headstock. In addition to a hand carved volute, this back cap is both aesthetically pleasing to the eye as well as a structural element to a very crucial part of the guitar neck. |
Back End Flash: As an artist, I consider all of my guitars to be works of art as well as fully functional instruments. With a love for inlay and marquetry, I custom design decorative pieces on the back and tail end of my guitars. Always changing with what inspires me at the time. The two always follow a common theme of design and wood combinations. The end result is a striking one of a kind guitar that can be easily distinguished as a Wolfsong. Custom inlay and designs are available upon request. |
Binding/Purflings: All of my bindings and purflings are solid wood and handmade to compliment the primary woods being used in each guitar. |
Nuts/Saddles: I use only the highest quality of bone for my nuts and compensated saddles. Both are meticulously hand crafted to ensure proper intonation and playability. Ebony nuts and other materials may be available upon request. |
Laminate Necks: I often construct my necks as a three or five piece all hardwood laminate. This theory of neck blank construction ensures the stability needed due to seasonal changes or mixed gauge string set-ups. A two way adjustable truss rod is installed to assist in proper neck relief. The combination of these two attributes ensures the stability to an already aesthetically pleasing guitar neck.
Tone Woods: My guitars are, as always, built using only the finest of tone woods available. All of my materials have been properly cured and all guitars constructed in a controlled environment to ensure long lasting stability. |
Labels: My guitars come with a handmade label located in the soundhole. Includes company name, serial # and hand signed. |
History: If desired, I offer a step by step photographed history of your guitar in the making. At no extra charge, it's no more than creating an added bond between luthier and client. This history is assembled in a small handmade photo album presented to you on the completion of your guitar. Available on custom models only.

Sound Port: The sound port is a small sound hole located on the bass/upper bout of the guitar side. it can be designed in a variety of shapes and sizes. it's purpose is to act as an on board acoustic monitor. to project sound at the player as well as the audience.it also adds dynamics to the overall voice of the instrument.
